This brand new blog called WHAT ABOUT ME? http://whataboutme2010.blogspot.com/ will start on THURSDAY 1st of April... And as the name says, it is all about me, or YOU... It is a challenge blog specifically designed to teach us how to scrap about ourselves. Our hopes, dreams and desires. I for one an very reluctant to scrap about myself, and i think this blog is a fantastic idea.

It has been thought up by Bec, who also owns Scrapability Sketches a great sketch site definately worth a visit......

A gift from Kaisercraft :)

The wonderful people at kaisercraft sent me the entire range of their " pack your bags" collection, as a thankyou gift for allowing them to take one of my layouts to the 2010 CHA show in Anaheim.... I was so happy that they wanted to take it, and certainly wasnt expecting anything.... So I was VERY surprised when i received it in the mail.... I have done 2 layouts already, and theres still plenty left to do more...

Ive been working on this layout taday, I just finished it, and am quite happy with how it turned out. Its a photo of my gorgeous niece Zoe.... I used my favorite "Stampin up" stamp, and handcut the bird from a picture i found on the internet....

Some new layouts :)

Helllooooo !!!!

I havnt been able to post anything for the past few days, life has just been busy.... we have been doing cash flow budgets getting ready to put the new crop in, and have had sick kids AGAIN !! i think we have just about had our fair share of bugs for the time being !!! Today is my 2nd oldest Matthew's 17 th birthday.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY ........ I want to share a couple more layouts... these are both of my youngest son Harry, taken at his birth, and at 2 days old....









the first photo was laken by the midwife, in the theatre, just after he was born... Its a very special photo....

my new scrap space !!!!

I thought Id share what Ive been up to the past few weeks..... This is still a work in progress, theres still things I want to change, but im really happy with my new space...







I love this idea of showing my layouts ( thanks Stacey, and the girls at The imagination Factory :) ) its just a plastic coated curtain rail, and it cost about $10.00 including the decorative ends .. Ive used shower curtain rings to hold the page protectors on the rail...... This bookshelf is great too , its really strong, and holds all my albums, and stamps, and all my heavy stuff........






This is my work station, ( AKA: old dining table ) those gorgeous boxes on the shelf hold all my rubber stamps, and paint...... The jars have my flowers in them..... and the white bucket has all my most used things, like glue, pens, knife and tape runner....... I have 2 Kaiser drawers to go on here too, but Im still deciding what papers to decorate them with ????







Everything else is hidden away in the built in wardrobe...

New layout......

This layout is one I did of my Husband and son, taken while we were away last week..... I LOVE those prima "de vines " the flowers are handmade, with a prima flower on top ( to cover up the messy bit :) ) Im happy with how it turned out.... hope u like !!

Some more layouts : )

Goodmorning,
I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend. We spent it looking after sick kids :( ... But things are looking like they are improving this morning.... They are fighting , so they must be feeling better !! I should be receiving my first design team package in the mail any day. Its very exciting, and Im looking forward to the challenge.

I thought I'd share another couple of layouts.... Ive been working on one this weekend, that I really like ( pics from our recent holiday ) but it just needs a few touches before I post that one.


This first one is of my 5 kids once again... Ive used these photos soooo often, I really need to take some different ones, but getting them all together in the one place is more difficult than it sounds. Ive used the DCWV pack for this layout, and these fantastic new PRIMA flowers ( I so love the new range of prima)




This next one is my eldest son Matthew, and my youngest son Harry, playing in the backyard. Ive used my minds eye papers and embellishments for this one.

Our little piece of the world......

I wanted to post these 2 layouts I did of where we live, and what we do. They are really basic layouts, but I love the photos, and didnt want to do too much. This first one , is just random photos taken around our farm. My husband in the header, a wheat crop in spring ( my favorite time ) canola crops, sunflowers, and one of our little potty calves , Daisy ....




This next layout is taken during stubble burning, which we do every year in March/ April , after the crop has been harvested, The kids love to be involved. I love it too, way fun !!!!



I have a few other layouts of around our farm, but they are going to be published soon, so I will put them up as soon as i can.... thanks for looking

Goodmorning.....

We're back......

We had a lovely few days. the weather was fantastic, and the place where we stayed had a brilliant pool, the kids had a ball, but were totally exhausted by the time we got home last night. I took a million photos, and cant wait to scrap them.

I can finally show this Layout again. It was my first ever to be published by Scrapbook Creations ( issue 74 ) , and was also taken to the CHA show by Kaisercraft this year. I was so excited... its a photo of my Grandparents and I, when I was about 3 i think.....


Well, I'd better go do all the awful stuff associated with going away, unpacking, washing etc.

Just wanted to share that i have had 2 more layouts accepted for publication.... woo hoo !!! It is so cool to get that email saying " we love your layout , can we publish it "

I just want to share a couple of Kaisercraft layouts ive done lately. I LOVE Kaisercraft !!!!

This one is done using the new Devonshire range.. Just LOVE that range.

We are going on holiday ... YAY !!!

We are going away for 4 days. YAY !!! We leave first thing tomorrow morning... We are not going too far, only about 2 hrs drive from here, but thats probably about as much as my little people can manage in the car, before they turn into monsters.

I will post another layout... I love to look at other peoples layouts on their blogs, so hopefully, someone will enyoy looking at mine too....

Thanks to all my new followers, for thinking Im interesting enought to follow :) I hope to get time today to go and have a look at everyone elses blog. In between packing, and washing etc !!!




This photo is one of my favorites. It is of my Nan, singing in a Hotel in Melbourne. She was an angel, and her and I were SOOOO close. I miss her so much.
