Graphic 45 'Gift card holder' Tutorial

Hi there,
Today, I get to share with you my first ever creations as a GRAPHIC 45 DESIGN TEAM MEMBER. Its a good day  :)
I have created 2 very simple gift card holders, along with a step by step so you can make you own, very quickly, and easily.
In a special collaboration with Art du scrapbooking  , my projects have been shared on their blog also.

* * *

These envelopes are so easy to make, you can use any sized envelope as your template, from large business sized, to small specialty ones. I have designed some that open up, so as you can place your sentiment inside, or in this case, enclose a gift card, then others can be sealed closed, with the sentiment written on the back.

step by step
Step 1: Using you're chosen envelope as a template, open out, and trace onto the reverse of you're chosen paper, cut on trace lines
Step 2: Again, using your template as a guide, score along the fold lines.

 Step 3: Adhere double sided tape along the flaps, close your envelope as shown.

 Step 4: Using the top flap as a guide, trim a piece of hessian to size, and adhere underneath flap. Again, using the top flap as a guide, trim a coordinating piece of paper to cover the hessian under the flap.

Decorate your envelope, using a selection of graphic 45 metal staples, and fussy cut images. I have used a tiny press stud under the flap, to hold the cards closed.

There are lots of other fantastic gift ideas on the Graphic 45 blog during the next few weeks, so, please, do yourself a favour, and go have a look what the rest of the amazing design team  have created.

Thanks for calling in, and I hope you enjoyed my little step x step  :)
