Hi there, Im here today, to share with you some cute little tags I made for The Dusty Attic, and Manor House Creations Design Teams... Ive used 2 gorgeous Dusty Attic pieces, which I really love, and think they look just brilliant used on tags. For the tag top, Ive used the Ornate corner #6 and for the bottom, Ive used the 2 scrolls from the Garden frame set. I have simply painted both using Dusty in colour - Alabaster, these paints are fabulous, the coverage is amazing, and I only ever have to use 2 coats on my chipboard. I also sponged a little soft brown ink on the edges of my chippy pieces. Plus, the TANIESHA flowers from MHC are the perfect finishing touch, and match the gorgeous G45 papers pefectly !!!
A handy hint, I like to use a makeup sponge whan applying paint to my chippy pieces, it gives a much finer coverage, gets into all the little nooks, and is great when painting some of the more intricate Dusty pieces, as the sponge seems to suck the paint out of the tiny hole in the chipboard.
