Australian Scrapbook Ideas Magazine & Dusty Attic

Hi, and thanks so much for calling in :)
I was given a comission from Scrapbook Ideas Magazine a little while back, and I was really excited to do this one. I was asked to complete 3 double layouts (well this part I wasnt too excited about, as i dont do doubles very often) , but I was excited that I had to do 3 masculine type layouts. My style is quite feminine, and flowery (as if you didnt know that lol) so, I was happy to have to push myself out of my comfort zone a little, and its something I need to do, as 4 out of my 5 kids are boys, and I think the boys are getting a little tired of seeing flowers on the pages  :)...  so, Ive gone all out 'boy' here, and was happy with what I did...
I can only show the first one today as I just realised, i havnt edited any of the others (oops) , but, this one is my favourite. It features lots of DUSTY ATTIC chipboard, and some of my favourite techniques, and again, when i get a minute, I will do up a little tutorial on how I did the 'rusty' chipboard, and post it here, on my blog, for anyone who is interested.
These are my 4 gorgeous boys, the photos were all taken recently, as you can see, theres a big age gap between them. Matthew is 19, Samuel is 18, Jack is 7 and Harrison is 4 (but turns 5 next month)...

I will be back in a few days with the other 2 to show you. I also wanted to blow my trumpet a little :) A friend of mine, Patti Hamil sent me a message the other day, to tell me that ANNA GRIFFIN had featured one of my layouts on her facebook page  :)   I was prety wrapped about that.. It was the one of my Grandparents, posted abut 3 posts back.. Thanks for letting me know Patti  xx...

We have had a tough few days here, with fires, we had a big one go through, not far from here, which destroyed alot of homes, buildings, and thousands of cattle and sheep. My brother and SIL home as under threat for a while too, and friend of ours lost alot of machinery, and stock, and their brother lost his home. The fire is still classed as going, and we have another total fire ban day tomorrow. But, we are certainly not the only ones dealing with scary weather, and tinder dry conditions, it seems to be all over Australia ATM... there are fires from one end of the country to the other.. My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected in one way or another by these horrible fires over the past few weeks, and for those, which Im sure are going to be affected over the next month or so.
