Well, spring has finally sprung in Australia, its a wonderful time of year for us here in Victoria, my favourite, the weather is warm, and the days are getting longer, flowers everywhere, and our Canola is in full flower, theres bright yellow paddocks everywhere you look :) ...

Its hard to believe that Christmas is less than 3 months away, how did that happen??. Is it just me, or are the years going faster and faster all the time. They say, as you get older that time seems to speed up, and I would have to agree with that.

Australian Scrapbook Ideas have just published their Christmas magazine, and its a beauty, It comes with a FREE mini mag,  choc full of wonderful Christmas layouts, and OTP ideas for Christmas. I was asked to make some Christmas gift tags for the magazine, and let me tell you, its almost impossible to find Christmas papers in the shops in June/July !!!  I ended up using some of last years Christmas release from  Kaisercraft, which I loved, and heres what I came up with....

This first tag is probably my favourite, I love the little Santa image, and the metal embellies.

I had alot of fun making these, they are super fast, and use up all my scraps :)

Thanks for calling in, and thanks to those wonderful people who take the time to leave me a comment. I love to read them....

Oh, and 'watch this space' next week, as I am having a HUGE givaway here on my blog !!!! So make sure you keep calling in, cos you wont want to miss it :)

Have a great week everyone, and hope see you again soon xx

  2. These are really really pretty, Karen!! Lots of fabulous layers and details for sure!
As for the warm weather... I want ours back. I am not ready to be done with it. Can you send it back just for a bit longer? :) I can't emphasize how much I don't like winter. Sub zero temps, snow, cold, freezing rain, blizzards. I am living in the wrong place. LOL If only I could convince my husband of that one. ;)
