Recent Publications

Oh, am I a bad blogger :(
I have been so busy lately, I havnt blogged anything for weeks, and I havnt even had a chance to visit any of my blog buddies either. Im sorry, and I hope to redeem myself in the next week. Ive almost finished some 'secret' scrappy stuff Ive been working on, so when thats all done, hopefully today, I will have lots more time to be here.
I have a couple of things to share with you today though. The latest Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine is out on the shelves, and boy, is it great. I think I can even say, in my opinion, its the best one so far.
I was asked to do a feature on using lots of photos on a LO, over a timeline. ( I had to use several photos from different time periods, and make them work on the one LO in other words) SO... here is what I came up with :)

* * *

Firstly, this one, featuring photos of our farm, over the years, from the 1960's through to today. Look at how much the machinery has changed in that time. I had great fun making this LO.

Next, this is my daughter, Ashlee, from birth to 21, wow, where did that time go?. It just seems like yesturday, she was a baby in my arms :(  Now, she has babies of her own...

* * *

And, finally, this lighthearted LO about my husbands family hairline. LOL. This is a photo of him, his Dad, and his Grandfather, take a look at the hairline :)....   Im thinking my boys should enjoy their hair while they have it LOL...

Thats it for today. thank you my friends for still making the time to call in, and leave comments, even if I am very poor at returning the favour sometimes, I promise I will do much better this week, now that things have settled down a bit :)

  6. Great work Karen - I love seeing lots of pics on a LO and "timeline" layouts are so much fun! I have one in an album that shows my hairstyle changes over the years - that's a bit scary lol. Love the fun of the "nude nuts" LO too :-))

  7. These are beautiful!! I love all of them. It is fun seeing the changes over the years. My hubby is bald. His father and grandfather's on both sides are/were bald. Rumor has though, that the baldness comes from the mother's side. My side has thick hair. My sweet boy has the most gorgeous and super thick head of dark brown hair. Hubby's has always been on the thinner side, even when younger.

  10. Love all of your layouts!! The timeline is great- you've picked the perfect grid design to fit in all those photos; amazing!! I also loved seeing a similar timeline through the photos of your daughter...scary how fast they grow up. And totally loving the fun "hairline" page- it's unfortunate that certain things are just hereditary, lol!

    Take care,

    xErin
