A baby & my top 10

Firsty, I have some HUGE news.........
I am very excited to announce that I am a Grandmother !!!  (for the 2nd time eeek) My daughter Ashlee gave birth to her second child, a little boy on Wednesday evening. I was very fortunate to be with her throughout the birth, and she was amazing. It is an incredible experience to be with your child, when she gives birth to her own child.

It is with great pleasure that we welcome

Ive seen lots of blogs where people are displaying their favorite layouts they have created throughout the year, and thought I would do the same. I have had an amazing year this year with my Scrapbook. I feel very honoured to have been given the opportunities that I have been given. I cant wait to see what 2012 has in store. So, here are my favorite creations from over the last year. Theres some others that Ive done, which I would have included, but they are out for publication, so I will share those as soon as I can.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone for their constant support, and wonderful comments left on my blog throughout the last year. Coming here and reading them really does brighten my day. I wish everone a safe, and happy new year, and I hope all your dreams and wishes come true in 2012.

Zva Creative Dec blog hop winners

Hi scrappy friends,
Today, we announce the winners of the Zva Creative blog hop for December.
But firstly, I have another layout to share, fearturing some more gorgeous Zva Creative flowers and bling. I actually did a LO of my husband and I, which doesnt happen very often, not because I dont want to, its just that I dont seem to have many photos of us together, because I, like most scrapbookers, am usually the one behind the camera. Ive used 2 of my favorite collections for this one, Pink Paislee 'sweetness' (the fussy cute peachy flowers), and Bo bunny 'Butterfly gardens'. Oh, and have I mentioned how much I LOVE the Prima gate mask, and brick stamp?

Zva Creative products used: Lovely flourish-white pearl, 2.5" dual flowers-white &dusty pink pack, 4.25" flower with leaves-white, 1.5" leaves.

OK, now the part you have all been waiting for,  we'd like to congratulate the FIVE December Zva Blog Hop winners! Their names will be found on the following blogs:

Jolanda Meurs

One winner from each of the 5 blogs will receive a Zva prize package worth $30.00. Congrats winners!
Thanks to everyone who played along, and thankyou to all who took the time to leave me a lovely comment here on my blog xo

Zva Creative Dec DT blog hop

Zva Creative, and our talented Design Team welcomes you to join us for our December Design Team blog hop!

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project. If you like what
you see, you can find a list of stores and online retailers that sell
 Zva HERE

The Blog Hop begins at Windy Robinson's blog. She will have the complete list of
all the participating blogs in case there is a glitch along the way. If
you would like to play along, just follow along the blog path. I am
linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the
next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!

Hidden on FIVE of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners
will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to
leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

The Blog Hop starts today, December 19th and runs through midnight US
Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, December 20th.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 21st on each of
the five winning blogs. The full list will be found on Windy Robinson's blog  as well.
We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in
to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday... plus, you never know what
kind of inspirational creation that you may find there.

All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post... you
do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to
qualify. However, the more times you comment along the blog hop path,
the more chances you will have to win.

We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our
blog hop prize! To increase your chances of winning:

* Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our
hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

 * Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any
 of the blog hop posts)

 * Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva
creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can
suggest other products that they don't carry.

So you have FOUR chances on each blog to win one of our FIVE prizes!
That's a lot of chances to win!

I was asked to create a layout using olive flowers, and crystal bling. The olive flowers reminded me of Christmas, and being that its only 1 week till the big day, decided to do a Christmas layout. I used Kaisercafts 'Dec 25th' paper collection, and have made  this stunning olive flower from Zva Creative the main feature of my layout.

Zva Creative products used: 3" Dual frosty flower-olive, 1-3/8"sweet roses-olive, Imperial olive crystal flourish

The blog hop begins here at Windy Robinson's blog .
Your next stop is  Andrea Ewen.
 Enjoy!

Thank you for joining us! Merry Christmas!

P.S. Mark your calendar to join us again on January 30th for our next
 Zva blog hop!

Pencillines & Get Picky

Hi :)

Just a quickie today, to show you the latest sketch over at Pencillines, designed by the very talented Sue Milde. Heres the sketch

Sketch 263

And heres my layout based on this sketch.

The photo is of my son, Sam, and his partner Sharnee, at their Debutante ball. They made a beauitful couple. Ive used 'Simple stories' papers (love them) and embellished with some stunning MANOR HOUSE CREATIONS flowers. Heres a couple of closeups :)

Next up, I had a little play along with the Get Picky sketch this week. Heres my layout I made, using some older Kaisercraft papers. These photos are of my adorable GS Deklan.( yep, I know, I look to young right!!!   LOL, im hoping you will say that anyway he he )

Well, Im off to the vets now. My little doggie, Molly, has a nasty grass seed in her ear (again) She is a little Cavaleir king charles spaniel, who has a bit of 'little man' syndrome, and thinks she is a farm dog lol. She runs after my husbands ute everyday when he goes to work, so he usually ends up picking her up, and taking her to work with him. We own a farm, so she spends her days running round the paddocks, or helping with the sheep. And, theres alot of grass seeds in the paddocks this time of year, and they are so nasty. We had her at the vets last year for the same reason. Im afraid, she will just have to stay home from now on, till the grass seeds are all gone.
Have a wonderful day my friends, thatks so much for calling in xx

ADDIT: The visit to the vet went OK. Poor little Molly did indeed have grass seeds in her ears, and one of them had perforated the ear drum :(  She is on antibiotics, and should make a full recovery.

Gotta love a mini album....

Goodmorning, afternoon or evening, depending on where you are :)  Its a bright sunny morning here in Victoria. We have had some hot weather lately, and its been lovely. I dont know if I will be saying that in another month or so, as it can get really hot here in January.
Ive been out of action a little bit in the last few days. I had laser surgery on a varicose vein in my leg (thanks to having my 5 babies) All in all, it hasnt been as bad as I thought, a little painful, alot of bruising, but I will be so happy not to have that ugly vein on my calf :)
We are gearing up for Christmas, I cant believe how quickly it has arrived. We are having dinner at my SIL home this year ( we alternate, one year here, the next at their house), we all help out with the cooking. Im usually in charge of the sweet stuff. I make a wicked plum pudding, and a sponge cake :)  I also love to make the fiddly little slices, truffles and all things chocolate LOL...  yum !!!! I am also going to make a gingerbread house this year, which my kids are very excited about. Its a bit like scrapbooking with food I spose he he........
Today, I have a few little things to show you, which have been published in magazines lately. The first one is a Christmas gift bag I made for SCRAPBOOKING MEMORIES. I have used Kaisercrafts 'Dec 25th' collection for this little bag. I really love those papers, and have used them heaps lately. I purchased the little bags from Spotlight, and they are fairly low cost, and make a fantastic gift bag for someone special.

The next few projects I have to show you were made for AUSTRALIAN SCRAPBOOK IDEAS magazine. I was given these gorgeous Maya road albums to use. The first one, a 6x6 album, I made for my daughter, using photos of her 21st birthday party, which was in August this year. I love that the Prima paper pads fit this album perfectly.

The second Maya road album I did was this cute little calico one. It is the perfect size for little hands, so I decided to do a little farm album for my 3yo Harrison. I kept the album fairly simple, so Harry could read it and play with it, and have included alot of photos taken around our farm. Photos of our tractors, header, crops, and some of our animals.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to visit. And please leave a comment :)  Have a wonderful weekend.

a little share...

Hi my scrappy friends,
I wanted to share with you my last DT work for Kaisercraft. I created a mini album, featuring the November release 'Madame Boutique' range, desgned by the very talented Jess :)  .... And yep, Ive scrapped me. I never, ever used to scrap any photos of me, I hated every photo ever taken of me, that was until I stumbled on the most amazing editing programme ever. It can make anyone look like a super model ( well, almost anyone lol) and when you are just the other side of 40, the ability to erase those little crows feet is awe inspiring. This is the programme I found HERE , and I absolutely reccomend it !!  It does a fabulous job on kids photos too, and it costs less than $40.00 AUD....

Anyway, enough waffling, heres my mini album I did :)

Thanks so much for calling in, and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Please make sure you call in next week, I will be having a HUGE Christmas giveaway, and will announce it next week....
