Zva Creative Nov DT blog hop

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcomes you to join us this November for a blog hop that we feel is always extra special because it is the first hop for many of our new 2011-12 team members! We also thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! See details below.

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project. If you like Zva's products you can find a list stores and online retailers that sell Zva HERE

The Blog Hop begins at Windy Robinson's blog . She will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in case there is a glitch along the way. If you would like to play along, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way!

Hidden on FIVE of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

The Blog Hop starts today, November 28th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, November 29^th.

The 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 30th on each of the five winning blogs. The full list will be found on Windy Robinson's blog as well. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday... plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation that you may find there.

All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. However, the more times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.

Pencillines :)

WOW, talk about blog overload. This is the 2nd post in 2 days for me, and I will post the ZVA blog hop tonight also. Three psot in 2 days,that has to be a new record for me :)
Today, I wanted to share with you my sketch and layout for Pencillines design team. Its pretty cool having all the fabulous Pencillines designers create a layout using my sketch. And they have done a brilliant job, go HERE to have a look. Heres my sketch

Vintage Christmas tags

Hi lovely ladies. So, who is ready for Christmas? Arrrgggghhhhh !!!! NOT ME !!!!!!! I am stunned at how fast it seems to have come round this year. Is it just cos Im getting older, and busier, or are the years really going faster than they used too?
I have made these cute little vintage tags for Christmas this year. They are really quick, and easy, and I love how they turned out. They were published in SCRAPBOOK CREATIONS this month, complete with a full materials list and instructions, if anyone is interested in how to make them :).

I have used Kaisercrafts 'Dec 25th' to make all of them, I really love this range of papers.

Now, on to a couple of layouts I have to show you. This first one is a layout I had published in Creating Keepsakes this month. Its a gorgeous photo of my youngest, blowing a dandelion.Ive used the gorgeous Webster Pages paper "wonderfall", this is one of my all time favorite collections, and Im sure you have seen many of my LO's using it :) 

And this next LO is one I did for Pencillines DT this week. This is a photo of my Nan, when she was about 25. She loved to sing. In this photo, she is performing at a hotel in Melbourne. Heres the sketch, designed by one of the DT members, the very talented Tracie Hudson

Cockadoodledoo, how cute is this

Hello everyone...  Well, we are back from our little holiday, we had a lovely time, the kids had a ball. The resort we stayed at was fantastic, a total kid heaven, with huge water park, and kids club, so the kids were flat out from the time they got up, to the time they went to bed. We visited 'Dream world' and my son, Samuel talked me into going on the giant drop with him, OMG, I thought I was going to die :)  I have a fear of hights, and so should have known better. But, I survived, barely, and am very proud of myself for doing it. ( although I would have run a mile had I been able to get out of the harness thing)  I have a photo, so you will definately see a layout soon. The only downer of our holiday was, my husband and I, in our holiday mode, forgot we were 'lilly white' Victorians, and made the mistake of sitting on the beach at Surfers Paradise for a couple of hours, OMG, did we pay for it. We were both so badly sunburned, we are still getting over it. My legs were beyond red, they were purple :(

OK, now on to a few shares. The latest release from Kaisercraft, called 'Cockadoodledoo' is so totally cute, and right up my alley, having a farm and lots of boys to scrap, its a perfect collection for me. I made these few projects for the November 'workshop' magazine from Kaisercraft. Its a free mag, full of great ideas, with step by step instructions. You can pick up a 'free' copy at any scrapbook store. This is what I made.....

Some more good news, I am returning for another term with Pencillines. And we are welcoming 5 new designers to the team. Two of them, Kerryn Lawson, and Camilla Ekman are my old buddies from my Kaisercraft DT time, so Im so happy to be working with them again. Call in to the Pencil Lines blog to see who else is on the team. I am also expecting my first DT package from ZVA to arrive in the mail any day, Im very excited, and cant wait to start playing.

Pencillines with October Afternoon

The latest Pencillines sketch is live. This week the sketch was designed by one of our very clever design team girls, Jennifer Chapin. And heres my layout. The cute little fella is my second youngest, Jack, he is 6. He wants so badly to be big, He asks me all the time 'Have I grown Mum?'. He thinks that all the good things happen when you are bigger. I wish he would just be happy to be little. Being big isnt anywhere near as much fun as being little.
