Hi, and happy Saturday :)
Today, I want to share a layout I did for the Kaisercraft DT . Oh, and I wanted to remind everyone that Kaiser are running a brilliant competition ATM. One lucky blogger will win the entire range of "After 5" plus a choice of BTP prodct as well (valued at over $65.00) Just go to the new release BLOG POST and leave a comment saying what you would use the new collection for. Entries close midnight on the 8th of November so be quick.
Now a layout. This layout is of my Grandmother, who passed away only 6 months ago, on her wedding day. My Grandfather returned on leave from world war 2 for a few days, and they just decided to marry while he was home. He left a few days later, and returned to the war. Unfortunately, he was captured by the Japanese, and became a prisoner of war, and was taken to the Changi prison camps, and was made to work on the Burmese railway. He was held captive there for 3 yrs. My Nanna didnt know if he was even alive for all those years. He was finally returned 4 years after they married.... Imagine that ?? Im so proud of him, and what he did for our country.
thanks for calling in, and for reading my little bit of family history :)
