We here in regional Victoria have well and truly had enough rain ( I know I shouldnt say that) but our crops are dying from too much rain !! We have had to re sow so many times, we re sowed 500 acres of Linseed last week, and its not even out of the ground, and we have had another down poar today.... The seed may not even come up........ I am grateful that everyones dams are full, and the rain was needed, but enough is enough already !!!!!

OK, today, I have a layout to share with you which is in this months Scrapbook Creations.... I love this photo of my youngest son, blowing a dandelion..... How cute are his little ( or not so little) cheeks :)

I hope you are ll having a wonderful weekend....

My fortnightly challenge at the BOXX

Hi there,

Its my turn to set the fortnightly challenge at the BOXX. Its my first one, so Im hoping lots of people do it, so I feel loved :) The challenge I set was to complete a layout using handmade embellishments , 50% of your embellishments have to be handmade. This could be your paper, background, handmade flowers, misting, anything as long as you made it yourself. Head over to THE BOXX , post your layout in the forum for your chance to win a great prize. Here is my layout I did for the challenge. I made all the flowers ( but did use little prima flowers for the centres) I made the bookplate, the leaves were made from a die and ink, and I made the butterfly :)

thanks for looking......

Creating Keepsakes :)

Hi there my friends :)

Another quicky tonight, cos I wanted to upload this LO which was published in this months Creating Keepsakes. Its a fairly old layout, of my grandparents again, whats with all the grandparent layouts recently ?? I did this grid type layout because the photos the photos are very old and weren't very good quality, so I had to keep them small.

Oh, and I wont be able to get around the net much in the next few days, my gorgeous 16 YO son used up all of our downloads, whatching videos on you tube... hmmmm, gotta love teenagers. I get normal speed back in a few days, so i will be back then :)

Have a great week, or whats left of it,

TTFN, and thanks for calling in

Its Kaisercraft again :)

Hi, and happy Saturday :)

Today, I want to share a layout I did for the Kaisercraft DT . Oh, and I wanted to remind everyone that Kaiser are running a brilliant competition ATM. One lucky blogger will win the entire range of "After 5" plus a choice of BTP prodct as well (valued at over $65.00) Just go to the new release BLOG POST and leave a comment saying what you would use the new collection for. Entries close midnight on the 8th of November so be quick.

Now a layout. This layout is of my Grandmother, who passed away only 6 months ago, on her wedding day. My Grandfather returned on leave from world war 2 for a few days, and they just decided to marry while he was home. He left a few days later, and returned to the war. Unfortunately, he was captured by the Japanese, and became a prisoner of war, and was taken to the Changi prison camps, and was made to work on the Burmese railway. He was held captive there for 3 yrs. My Nanna didnt know if he was even alive for all those years. He was finally returned 4 years after they married.... Imagine that ?? Im so proud of him, and what he did for our country.

thanks for calling in, and for reading my little bit of family history :)

Another share.....

This is a layout I did for the Kaiser DT blog. I love these photos of my 2nd youngest, Jack. I am also loving this "after 5" collection from Kaisercraft, the colour combination makes it so easy to just add 1 more colour, to change the entire look of the layout. For this layout, i have gone with aqua and silver. I ran some metal shim through my cuttlebug ,and embossed it, then cut the stars. I love the result, and I think the metal stars look great with the black and white photos.

Thanks for calling in, I will be back tomorrow with more layouts to share.....

Kaisercrafts new "After 5" collection layout

Goodmorning :) Sorry, Ive been AWOL a little lately, Ive been busy scapping though, I promise. Ive been working on something big, that Im really excited about, but I cant share it with you just yet :) ..... But I can share the gorgeous new November release collection from Kaisercraft.... Its called "After 5". Click on this LINK to see the full range... Oh, oh, oh, AND Kaisercraft have also bought out their own range of flourishes, which are just gorgeous... Theres lots of new things this month, so make sure you call in the their blog and have a look.

This layout is one I did of my Mum. I love this photo of her, at about 18 years old. I have made these flowers, using cardstock and a spellbinders die, and added a little ribbon rose I got from Spotlight, I think the red looks fabulous with the black and grey of the after 5 range.

I have lots to share this week, cos its my blogging week for Kaiser, so stop by again soon, for more "after 5" , Oh, and be sure to have a look at the Kaisercraft blog to see what the other girls have done with this range, G-O-R-E-O-U-S !!!! ....Thanks so much for calling in, and please leave me a comment,
