A vintage Christmas layout....

Goodmorning,
And it is such a beautiful morning here in Victoria. Its been such a long, cold, WET winter, its so nice to wake up to daylight, and sunshine. Our farm has taken a toll with all the rain, we have lost about 600 acres of crop, due to it being underwater for so long. We are planning to spray alot of it off, and re sow it with a spring crop, so at least we will have a crop. You get a bit down about it, but then I give a thought to our fiends in Creswick who lost everything in the flood there a few weeks ago, and it all doesnt seem so bad....

OK, here is a Christmas layout i want to share with you. I have used Kaisercrafts new "Tis the season" range. I made the poinsettias for the layout, and added alot of ink, and destressing to give it all an aged appearance.

Thanks everyone for calling in, and dont forget to leave me a message, so I know you have been here :)

some more Kaisercraft

Happy Sunday,
I made these flash cards for Kaisercraft. I had to design something using the mini alphabet and tiny alphabet stickers, so this is what I came up with. My idea was to leave the embellishing to a minimum, and have them laminated. My boys are going to love playing with them :)

I have a busy week this week with Kaisercraft, so i will have plenty to share with you :) ... My "Scrap space" is up on their BLOG this morning if you would like to go an have a sticky. have a fantastic week everyone, and happy scrapping :)

Hippy girl and floods.........

This is a layout I made using Kaisercrafts August release "Hippy Girl" range of papers and embellishments. It is such a biright happy range, and i thought it was the perfect layout to welcome spring.

and a closeup.....

Spring has been a long long time coming for us here in Victoria. It has been overwhelming the amount of rain we have had. Our small town faced the threat of floods last weekend. Our tiny little creek swelled to a river the size of the Murray. But it was amazing to see the way the locals all pulled together, people were out in the poaring rain, helping with sandbagging, and preparing food to feeds the volunteers, and anything else we could do. We were very lucky that the flood started to receed before any major damage was done, there was a few stores and houses flooded, but all in all it wasnt as bad as they had predicted.

But while our town was lucky, our friends werent quite as fortunate. They live in Creswick, near Ballarat, and they lost everything in the flood that occurred there the day before. Their house was destroyed, and so was their business. All the houses in their street were destroyed :( .... Its a terrible thing to have happened, and it will take them a long time to get back to where they were, but, no one was hurt, and they will rebuild.... They have alot of support........

have a great weekend everyone :) And please leave me a comment :)
