Blog hop winners and a tag

Hi again,

before you head off to find out the winners of the Zva Creative blog hop, Id like to show you a little tag I made. I am in love with the new Graphic 45 collection 'Little darlings', and this tag is the third project I have made using it in the past week ( the other two I cant show you just yet) I have used a Zva creative Graceful rose in white, and also some Elegant rose buds also in white. As you can see, they are not white anymore :) I have sprayed them with 2 different colours of Glimmermist, to get a perfect colour to match my tag. The colours I used were 'Antique brass' and 'Creme de rouge', the brass has given the flowers a nice, shimmery look.

Zva Creative March DT blog hop

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to our March blog hop!

The Blog Hop begins at Zva Creative's blog! Be sure head on over to check it out! As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was will be sharing a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project.  I stepped outside my box this month, and have created a very masculine page, using colours I hardly ever work with. This range of papers is called '13th hour' from Kaisercraft. Ive teamed it with the  ZVA Creative black flourish, and doesnt the flourish add the perfect finishing touch to the layout. The adorable little face belongs to my youngest baby, Harrison.

Some Kaisercraft to share

Hi there all my scrappy friend,

Its been a while since Ive had anything to post. That doesnt mean Ive been slacking though. In fact Ive been FLAT OUT creating for my new position at Manor House Creations, also I have 3 magazine jobs on the go ATM, plus my other DT commitments as well !!. No rest for the wicked as they say. I was looking through my layouts yesturday, and I found a few things that I did for Kaisercraft, when I worked for them,  that Id forgotten to post here on my blog.

Firstly these 2 little tags. I just love to make tags, Im not big on cards really, but tags, LOVE EM !!

Next this 'farmy' layout I did, isnt this paper range just the cutest, and ideal for these photos of Jack playing with our little piglets :)  The LO is a little different from my usual style, but, its good to try different things every now and then right :)

And this little party banner I made for Harry's 4th birthday. (which was in February)

Manor House Creations DT call

Hi lovely ladies.

I am excited to share this news with you, from Manor House Creations

We are pleased to announce that a position has become available for someone to join our exciting team as an EDUCATOR for VIDEO CLASSES. If you feel that you excel in the area of instructional videos, and also altering flowers and creating projects showcasing our flowers, then this may be the position for you!

This position would require:

• 1 video per month creating an original work
• Understanding of how to create, edit and upload videos to YouTube.

You will receive:

• 3-4 DT kits per year featuring MHC flowers for use in the videos.
• Your own Educator MHC badge

Finally...My big secret....

Well, thank goodness this day has finally come. I have been bursting at the seams to tell you my news. So, no mucking around, i have been waiting too long to say this

I am a Designer, and the Design team co-ordinator for Manor House Creations......

You have no idea how happy I am about this (well, maybe you can tell) For those of you that follow me regularly, you will know how much I love MHC. I am honoured, and excited to be among some of the most talented designers in the business. I am excited, although a little nervous about having to fill Nerrida Mitchells shoes as the design team co-ordinator.(Nerrida is now more involved in the management side of MHC). For those of you who havnt heard about Manor House creations, they are a new, and rapidly growing Australian owned flower manufacturer. And their flowers are second to none. Do yourself a favour and go and have a look HERE at their wonderful flowers, and HERE at their blog, where you will find some wonderful inspiration, from the design team.

I was asked to create a layout, for my big DT announcement over at the blog this morning. I chose to do a 'masculine' type layout, using some gorgeous MHC flowers, and the newly released 'Saturdays' range from Little yellow bycicle ( how gorgeous are those papers)

Products used: Finesse, The tropics-islander, Prior rose-chocolate, Fairy floss-soft blue, Rose leaves medium.

The flowers are so easy to work with, and matched this collection perfectly. I really like this LO. The journalling reads

 ' Matthew, at 9 you were such  dreamer, you lived in a magical world full of dragons and wizards. Not a bad place to live really'. Matt is nearly 19 now, and studying Engineering at Uni :) . But Im sure, deep down, he still believes in wizards, and dragons.
