I was asked to complete a layout using the colours Ginger or orange. How could I not use this stunning flower? This is one of my favourite Zva Creations flowers, I adore the colour, and it is perfect for the shabby chic style of layout I was after.

This photo is of my daughter, and my second oldest son, they have always been very close. I used  sketch 214 from CREATIVE SCRAPPERS for this layout.

My favourite layout & MHC winter release



Some amazingly gorgeous flowers that we are sure you will flip out over. Our Design team are saying they are the best yet! Lots of new sizes including 5cm - a favourite size of many,.

Australian Scrapbook Ideas and Zva

Hi lovely scrappy friends,

Today, id like to share with you a couple of layouts I did recently for Australian Scrapbook Ideas magazine. With every issue of this magazine, there is a 'freebie'. This month, when you purchase the mag, you get a gorgeous set of stamps from 'Hot off the press' worth  $10.95.

I was asked to create 2 layouts, using these stamps, in a creative way.

Heres my first layout... Featuring some gorgeous ZVA CREATIVE flowers and crystal flourishes.

Ive created 3D embellishments using the stamps. Ive stamped several of the same image, in different coloured inks, then cut different elements from them, and layered them together to create a 3 dimensional look

For the second layout of my daughter when she was about 2 ( awww) Ive stamped my images onto acetate, then cut them out, and placed them 'amongst' the gorgeous Manor House Creations flowers. A good tip when stamping onto acetate: always use Stayzon ink or similar, and once you ink your stamp up, leave it sit of around 10 or 15 seconds, this allows the ink to dry a little, and become tacky, and will prevent the stamp slipping on the acetate.

Yes, thats right, Manor House Creations are having their Design team call !!!  How exciting... Read below for the details of how to apply.

1. Punctuality and commitment are very important to us, so please make sure you have the time and energy to give if you would like to apply for a position on our team. You will be asked to complete 3-4 projects per month plus 1 blog post per month.

2. We would love to see our flowers used in your application, if you have access to them.

3. Please send your application with the subject line: (Your name) – DT call 2012 application

4. Please don’t send large files (500kb is the maximum).

5. This call is open to local and international applicants, and we are looking for some new talent out there – so don’t forget to apply by midnight, June 30th.
