Zva Creative May DT blog hop

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcome you to join us for our May Blog Hop! We are happy to have you join us and hope you enjoy all that we have to share with you along the way!

As you know, Zva offers many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project. My colour focus for May was PINK, soft pink or rosy pink. I have used these beautiful roses from Zva Creative, along with the Rosy pink crystal flourish for my envelope card. ( I plan to do a step by step tutorial for this card and post it here on my blog, very soon )

MHC and My Creative Sketches

Goodmorning, I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, wherever you are. Its a cold one here in Victoria, but it is winter in a few days, so sadly, we cant expect much different.

Today I want to share with you a LO I did of our brand new baby niece, Amelia. Isnt she adorable?. She was born in March, and her and her Mummy and Daddy are living in the US at the moment, so we havnt met her yet :(.

I made this LO for them, and plan to frame it, and send it to them as a gift. I used a gorgeous sketch from  MY CREATIVE SKETCHES  as my inspiration, and once again ive used the way too cute Graphic 45 'Little Darlings' papers, along with these stunning Manor House Creations flowers.

MHC and Once Upon A....Sketch

Hi, and happy Sunday to everyone :)  I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. I had a little time to play yesturday, and decided conbine my Design team work at Manor House Creations with this gorgeous sketch from Once Upon A .... Sketch.

Heres the journalling criteria....

'We would like you to create and layout and interpret the theme 'Mum' however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as much of as little as you like'.

I chose to do a layout of my Mum, using these gorgeous MANOR HOUSE CREATIONS flowers, and stunning papers from The Scrapcake called 'My Private Happiness. Both available HERE

 

Ive used lots of fussy cutting, and yes, lots of punches, and dies ( my LO's wouldn't be complete without these )

The quote reads

' A Mother is someone who can take the place of all others, but who's place no one else can take'

Isnt that true :)
