Im excited :)

Firstly I just want to have a little 'toot'. My layout 'Ashlee' (in the post below) was given an 'honourable mention' at Get picky this week. woo hoo. Thanks so much  to the ladies at Get picky xx

Another 'toot' LOL, I am being featured as the 'featured artist' in the UK magazine, 'Scrapbook magazine' this month.. woo hoo, really excited about this one. I will then become a regular member of their DT.

Today I can finally share with you some of the projects Ive been working on for the stunning Christmas collections relased by Kaisercraft this month. 'Dec 25th' is a gorgeous vintage inspired collection, that I absolutely LOVE, and then theres a bright happy range called 'Silly Season'. These projects, plus many more gorgeous creations, all complete with instructions, are available in the 'free' Kaisercraft magazine, and you can pick on up at any Scrapbook store that sells Kaisercraft.

Firstly Id like to show you a 'swap card display' I did, featuring 'Dec 25th' I had so much fun making this, and definately plan to make more, i really love them....... These are photos of my 5 kids, and my husband and I :)

Next is a layout, again featuring 'Dec 25th'. These are photos of my 2 youngest boys. The angel and the dec 25th chipboard are also newbies from Kaisercraft this month.

Thankyou everyone for calling in, I hope you are all having a fantastic week. We here in Victoria are starting to see little hints that spring is in the air, thank goodness, this has been one, long, wet winter.

Take care my friends

This is a first

WOW, 2 blog posts in 2 days. that is a first for me for sure. I lost my mojo for a while there, but its back in full swing thank goodness, and I dont have alot of DT stuff on ATM, so I can just play, and am having so much fun doing so :) This layout was done for the Get Picky challenge. I really love their challenges, but this is the first time Ive been able to play. heres the Get Picky sketch

and heres my take on it :)

This is a "selfie" of my daughter. I dont know whats happened to her bottom lip, its looking a bit fat and crooked. I think its my editing skills. LOL. Ive used these gorgeous Websters papers
I got as part of the DT at The imagination factory.

OK, gotta run, its an amazing day here in Victoria, after such a cold wet winter, so Im off to make the most the sunshine.

My clever boy

I am playing along with the bird is the word challenge again this month, The challenge was to include the word DREAM in the layout. This layout I did of my son, playing one of his most prized possessions. He absolutely loves playing his guitar, and is very very good at it as well. So good in fact that last year, he played in the orchestra  (with all adults) of a large theatre production of Peter Pan. His dream is to one day be the lead guitarist of a huge, mega famous band, and I think with his drive and passion, he may just achieve his dream.

Thanks everyone for calling in, and please leave me a comment so I know you have been, and I can visit you :)

Goodmorning, and happy Saturday... Boy its been a full on week for me, and Ive done nothing scrap related, just family stuff, lots a school sports, baby ultrasounds ( no not mine LOL) and hospital visits ( yes me, but everything is OK ) ...   I found a new challenge site, I am loving having a play with some challenges. Our Vintage affair is a gorgeous blog, with lots af stunning inspiration. Their August challenge is 'birds'. Ive entered this 'Hunt and gather' layout. Its Kaisercraft latest release. Isnt it divine.  Just perfect for scrapping this photo of my Husband and son wandering in the Grampians earlier this year.

I made this card with the same collection, but added a little femine touch to the range.
